NECKBAND
Sew right shoulder seam.
With smaller needles and RS facing, pick up and K18 (18, 20) sts evenly along left side of neck, knit across sts from front st holder, pick up and K18 (18, 20) sts evenly along right side of neck, knit across sts from back st holder, dec 1 st at center back neck — 65 (69, 75) sts.
Rows 1–5 (5, 7) 1/1 Rib.
BO in rib.
FINISHING
Sew left shoulder and neckband seam. Fold sleeves in half lengthwise and mark center of cap. Match marker to shoulder seam and sew sleeves in place. Sew side and sleeve seams.
